FOUND A DISTRESSED ANIMAL?
Follow Our Rescue Tips:
Watch + Wait
1
Observe from a safe distance before assuming an animal is truly orphaned or injured. Parents often remain nearby to care for their young.
Please remember that wildlife can be unpredictable and dangerous; keep your distance to ensure both your safety and the animal's well-being while waiting patiently.
Call + Report
2
Contact our team at 206-919-0861 for assistance. We are available twenty-four hours daily; please leave a text or voicemail if we are unavailable.
You may also contact our affiliates, Center Valley Animal Rescue at 360-765-0598 or West Sound Wildlife Shelter at 206-855-9057, for additional local wildlife support.
Observe Quietly
3
After reporting the animal, quietly monitor its movements until professional help arrives. If the creature faces immediate danger and requires relocation, move it cautiously with minimal handling. Always prioritize your personal safety above all else, as wildlife can be unpredictable and potentially harmful when handled by untrained individuals.

Our work starts with people like you.
