Gig Harbor Wildlife Rescue is 100% volunteer-operated. 

Gig Harbor Wildlife Rescue is operated by Dr. Joel Cuthbert with support from his family, community, and local organizations.  Gig Harbor Wildlife Rescue is not a permitted rehabilitation service but operates in accordance with Federal and State permit exceptions afforded to licensed veterinarians for wildlife stabilization and care.  Questions can be directed to us, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and/or the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. 

Every dollar donated to the rescue is devoted to medical supplies, animal transport, and operational overhead.

Gig Harbor Wildlife Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) public charity that operates pursuant to applicable State and local fundraising laws.
